You will love it! During the weekends its very crowded, so if its possible, go during the week. If you are on the DDP, use your snack credits at the Country carts to get the food! Saves you tons on money, plus, they are good size portions so my family and I can actually make a meal out of it!

Its very fun and VERY busy on the weekends. If you are traveling with kids I would recommend you go during the week or very early. It gets hard to walk around type of busy on the weekend and there are lines for the food booths then. Here is a helpful site: http://allears.net/tp/ep/foodwine.htm

I'll echo the sentiment that you should carry a grip of cash on you. It makes getting through the lines a bit quicker.

Also, and while I'm not usually into planning what I want to eat before I actually get there (aside from making reservations, of course), it pays to go through the list of booths and what they offer and decide what you want to try and which direction you want to go. There's a lot to see, do and taste, so having an idea of what you want to do definitely helps get you where you want to be.

And, yes, avoid the weekends if you can. Fridays, too.

Here's a link to the official Food & Wine guide map and a list of booths and their menus:

I agree with the PP, print out the menus and highlight what you would like to try.

instead of carrying cash with you, why not get one of the gift card stretchy bracelets? I found it much easier, and you can recharge them if needed:thumbsup2

We bought the F&W gift card last year and it definantly made purchases easier.

But.....beware....the stretchy bracelet part broke within the first 10 mins.:scared1: Luckily a very nice and honest person saw it fall off my wrist and alerted me. After that, we felt much safer keeping the card in our pocket.

Ditto on this I still have mine in fact I just put money on it at my local Disney Store so I can be all set for our upcoming trip in October

Stop by the old Wonders of Life Pavillion or ask at any of the kiosk(if they have any) for a food and wine passport. It's free and you can check off the new things you've tried and also jot down any notes you want to remember.

One more thing, keep your hands free. Try to avoid carrying any bags or cameras. Also, avoid a rainy day. We went on a rainy day once and it just didn't work.
