Food and Wine? Sounds Divine! An October TR - 12/2 A PTR Link!

Nice start and I hope it really is a great day!

Too bad the savanna was so boring that morning. Guess the animals were sleeping in.

Cute pictures of your little guy!

Cute update! The "big animals" all go to the barn for feeding, cleaning and care in the mornings. They go in by hourly shifts starting around 6-7AM and it takes a couple hours to get them back out on the Savannah. They start with the Pembe and move towards the Savannahs at Jambo house for last.

The animals know that they get their "best" food in the barn so they are often queued up and waiting at the time when their time comes.

I like the one where DS is waving and covering your DM's face. Might be a good candidate for awkwardfamilyphotos.com! :rotfl2:

Question for you on the split stay: We are booked May 18-23 at BWV and May 23-28 at AKV. I made ADRs this morning for the BWV portion of our trip, but it wouldn't let me make any for after checkout time at BWV. Do I have to wait until the 180 days mark for AKV to make the ADRs for the second part of my trip? I thought you might know since you're a split stay veteran now :worship: haha!

I can answer this. They are considered two separate trips. I've run into this multiple times and it's very frustrating. You won't be able to make reservations for the second half until 180 days out. You two are leaving the day that we arrive. I'm happy about this trip because even though we are doing a split stay, we will be one night at the first resort and seven at the next, so I have a chance at getting BOG towards the end of the trip and maybe even Le Cellier!

I LOVE your shirt! That is SO cute! :thumbsup2

Love the family picture in front of SSE. Very nice!

Interesting that you though the bedroom was much smaller. Hmmm - I had a standard and I think it was about the same size. Still, I would definitely book a value if it was available. Our 2 BR lock-off seemed every bit as roomy as the 2BR at Kidani!

I see your DH had some second thoughts about getting up! :rotfl2:

Those zebra domes sound heavenly, chocolate-y with a bailey/coffee thing going on? Yum.

:rotfl: at the "hole"

Those chairs on your balcony do look cool.

Can't wait to see more of Epcot!

Great update!

Thank you!

Duh I so didn't get the flatbread sarcasm!

Yay food and wine festival at long last, I can't wait to hear what you ate and drank :)

:rotfl: No worries! I should have inserted a ';)' after that!

Epcot! How fantastic. Looking forward to it.

Great pics of the family. But I have to ask....how did DH pull up on this morning after walking into the glass?

His nose was actually sore for a couple days afterwards :rotfl: Poor guy!

So when is he going to set up his account here so he can defend himself???

NEVER!:rotfl:

With a kid that age, perfection is hard to come by. Nice pictures though.

I believe it's a kid at any age. Do you not remember the photo of DH not following directions? :confused3:lmao:

Gee, thanks mom. Let's go do something I can't do. :rolleyes1

That's exactly what I thought when I wrote it :rotfl:

Great update, great photos :) can't wait to see what the day entails.

Hopefully another update soon!

It really was a good day! Hopefully you all will get to hear about it soon, since i've been so slow at updating lately :lmao:

Thanks for answering that for me. Now I know they weren't there because I was out there, it was because they wanted food. Phew! Thought it was me!

:lmao: Oh MY GOSH! Have you ever looked at some of the photos on there before?! I'm pretty sure that photo wouldn't even qualify to be on that website. Some of the pics on there are RIDICULOUS!!! :lmao::rotfl2:

I thought the bedroom was smaller than the Kidani bedroom by far. Here's the bedroom at Kidani

and at Jambo

I think if we didn't try to squeeze in DS's pack-n-play, it wouldn't have been so bad. The only room we had for it was behind the door on my side of the bed. We couldn't fully open the door with the PnP behind it, so it had to be pushed up against my side and if I wanted to get out of bed, I had to crawl over poor Dh :lmao:

Yay for coffee on the balcony! Well done :) what a nice morning so far!!!

Hopefully another update soon! I hate updating mine unless I read everyone else's first.

Wanted to come on and say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! It's going to get busy around here with cooking and baking and shopping this weekend, so I wanted to get on right now just in case I couldn't in the next few days. Off to catch up on everybody's TRs!

Ready for the reveal?!

I was playing along and trying hard to see any animal. I was just hoping that you weren't going to point out a gator or something rather unfriendly in that water. Phew! Those ducks are safe.

That last family photo is great!

Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving! Enjoy.

I love all the little details around the AKL resort! The chairs on the balcony are especially cute.

The family pics are super cute, too! The one with Calvin waving is funny. It's almost as if he's photobombing the picture.

I just finished your cruise TRs and I have to tell you they COMPLETELY sold my boyfriend and I! All weekend we have been debating which one to go on (we are southern CA natives), and your stories/pictures really helped so thank you!:flower3:

Your family is so adorable, I love reading your updates and seeing your adorable DS!

YIKES!!!

It's been so long since i've been on! As you can probably tell, it's been crazy busy around here lately. AND I have some fantastic news that I won't be able to share with you guys until next week! I know, i'm a terrible person but it's pretty amazing:)

I only have 2 more people to buy gifts for and we're DONE! :cool1: Then it's on to wrapping:eek:

I'm so sorry i've been neglecting my poor TR but i'm hoping to get back into soon. But first off to read what you guys have been doing!

Ooooh I'm excited to hear your news! :goodvibes
