While F&W is on, will bottles of wine be available for purchase in Epcot... please excuse my ignorance... alcohal sales are restricted to licensed liquor and wine stores in this part of Canada.

If so, where would I purchase the wine and does anyone know the range cost-wise?

Last question, I see the pricing for food samplers, but have not seen any pricing for beer, wine or other liquor... Anyone know? And is it a 'taste' or a regular-sized beverage you are purchasing.

Cheers!!!

Yes there are bottles of wine available for sale during the F & W festival. The Festival Center has a large selection, and there are also other Kisoks around WS. As a point if interest, you can always buy wine in Epcot. France, Italy and Germany all sell it year round.
The beverage sizes vary. I have had small "sample" size servings of wine, and full size glasses of beer, so it varies.
Enjoy the F & W festival, it is wonderful

Bottles of wine are for sale in the festival center at the old Wonders of Life pavillion.

The cost for the samples of wine and beer range usually between $3 to $9. The wine samples are rather small. The beer is small solo cup size as are the frozen alcoholic beverages.

The Hops & Barley booth will have Sam Adams beer selections in 12 oz and 22 oz sizes. Some are draft and some are poured from bottles (beer from bottles is available in 12 oz only). Everything is served in a plastic cup, as you can't walk around the park with glass containers.

Generally correct, but there will be a booth offering champagne, the cost of which is in the $10 - $13 range. You do, however, get a decent sized glass of champagne for that price.

The bottles of wine for sale at the Festival Welcome Center are outrageously marked up. I'm going from memory here but I'm thinking the prices for average wine will run $20 to $40 a bottle.

Maybe I should have started another thread on this question, but has anyone had confirmation that snack credits can be used at the F&W kiosks for food?

I don't tend to buy bottles of wine at the festival center because they seem pretty expensive. I found that I was able to purchase a nice bottle of Hob Nob in the France pavilion's wine shop for about $15. That seemed pretty reasonable, and I thought it was decent. (Bought the pinot noir.)

When the sign boards at the kiosks show up and people take photographs of them, we'll probably see the DDP logo on the food and non-alcoholic beverage items. That's the only way we've confirmed it in the past. I would be very surprised if they didn't allow it this year.

Someone going during opening weekend usually posts it on the F&W thread. (Right now, it's a sticky at the top of this page; the moderators will "un-sticky" it when the festival starts.)

Well the only day I will be there is OPENING DAY ... so that's not going to help me. However, I'm going to "assume" at this point that they can be used.

The menu boards are usually up BEFORE opening day, and someone will likely take photos and post them.
