Food and Wine Festival

Am I missing something??? I changed my September plans to take the new Magic 3 night cruise, which will be returning on the first day of Food and Wine, so I am definately staying for a few days after. However, when I go to the web site to see what 'events' they are having - the special dinners etc. no specifics are listed. Am I too early or too late - I know they sell out pretty quick so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed them. However, I would think they would at least list what they are doing, so you can be see what you are missing.

Did I go to the wrong site - I looked at the official disney site?

Don't worry, you didn't miss it. The events are usually posted in July - I think mid-July. We're waiting too.

EXCELLENT - I've been once but did do any of the 'special' meals/ meets w/ chefs etc. I'd like to try one this time.

You'll find a lot of us hanging out on the Restaurant forums waiting for the first sign of event details. Once the event details are released, you'll find a lot of frenzied activity there.

Last year we had a whopping 10 day advance notice before we could book the events.

I was just reading Regina's blog about the Party for the Sense's - that sounds like fun. I'm on a solo trip, so I don't know if I would do one of the sit down dinners/lunches. Although if one of my favorites was there I might break down.

I have been to Sweet Sundays twice and truly enjoyed it too. Highly recommended! Looks like I won't get to go again this year unless I put on a pretty good convincing act to DFi (which is doubtful! )

I do always remember having to wait until mid/late July for the events to come up online and then about 2 more weeks to book them. Sooo.....soon!!
