If on the dining plan -- is it worth going off of it one night and paying OOP!?!?!

and more importantly how much (roughly) does it cost to flavor around the world so I know what I am getting myself into!:rotfl::lmao:

Thanks so much!

We are on the dining plan for our October trip and we plan too save up our snack credits too use, but also load one of those cards with cash so we can really enjoy ourselves...:thumbsup2

We are planning no sitdown meal that day..We will save it for Breakfast at Boma our last morning...:cloud9:

I like too have between $80-$100 on my card....I love too try it all and I like the Margaritas in Mexico and want the Orange slushy drink in France..So those a bit more since they are full size. We will start at 11:00am and work our way around taking a break in the afternoon and then coming back for evening.....The Domincan republic had a some good frozen drinks too....

I say go and enjoy......I am trying too put away $20 a week till we leave...That should give me plenty of fun money......:yay: I am 40 years old ,but still give this $20 too my Dad too lock in his safe each week..This way I can not spend it.... I said " Do not let me have this till October"!:rolleyes1

Enjoy!:dance3:

We stay off property so I've never been on the dining plan but F&W I think is definitely worth paying OOP. We liked being able to try small portions of things we normally wouldn't try. It was all wonderful!

We go just about every year for the F&W fest, so I'd say it's worth it! ;)

Seriously, it is totally worth it. DH & I spend anywhere between $50-$75 at a time working our way around the booths, depending on what, if anything, we are drinking that time. We generally do a long lunch there a good 5 days of our trip and usually one long dinner. We split everything so we can sample more stuff. There's no way anyone could eat everything there in one shot.

If you only plan on spending one day there, I'd go over the list when it comes out & mark off your must-dos. With 25+ booth, each with 2-3 food samples & 3-4 beverage samples, you'll have to trim it down quite a bit.

It's totally worth it. As far as how much you spend, I think that is a big variable. We went more than once last year, and I must say we spent a LOT! I bet we spent $100 easy the first day, but that was lunch and dinner, we started at 11, took a nap in the afternoon and closed it down that night.

My friend went last year, and she said it was their favorite day the entire trip.

They purchase wrist bands and put $100.00 on each and went to town.

She said what better than to wander around and eat and drink all day. They tried several things, and then settled into their two favorites and didn't move the rest of the day!
