Food and Wine Festival Question

Brenda and hopefully are right about October 17, huge crowd but surprisingly well mannered...but HUGE. Enormous lines everywhere - the booths, the bars, the little shop in Italy that sells limoncello and Rosa Regale (that line went all the way into Germany), the Ditch, everywhere except the Thailand booth (if you like Thai food you at least got something to eat).

This is the Beef Empanada with Tomato Salsa (We were not crazy about) and the Grilled Beef Skewer (This was really nice, the Chimichurri sauce was the best part!)

WOW!!! I am so glad I talked DH into going in Nov! I've been planning my ADR's..but after looking at these pictures..maybe we'll just end each day with F&W for dinner!! We're staying at Beach Club.
Thanks for posting!

The best time to go is right when the stands open. Sooo much fun snacking around the world!

Wow, those pics are making me even more excited for our first F&W Fest in Nov! I can't wait!!

This thread is also making me feel better about my plan to go to MK/AK on Sat/Sun and going to F&W on Mon/Tues! :cool1:

Those pictures are incredible!!!!! I cannot wait -- We plan on going on a Monday (October 18th) hoping the crowds won't be too bad! We plan on an early breakfast, then spending the morning riding the rides (Soarin, Test Track, etc.) and then stopping off at Kim Possible for my son to get his transmittor and take it over to the Worlds while we eat and he plays! I cannot wait! I am so glad we are able to go this year! :woohoo:

THANK YOU for the wonderful pictures of the menus (and prices) and dishes!
We are planning our first trip to the F&W this Oct. And now I'm really ready to be there.:thumbsup2

yummy! I cant wait to go. This will be my first F&W, do you think one day is enough?

Wow everything looked so Yummy, Great Pics ! Thank You so much for posting them. I am really excited now, come on November, hurry up and get here!!!

Have been reading about F & W for the last few years so looking forward to trying it all out!

Great information from everyone. Made our decision - weekdays in Epcot and escaping to Vero Beach for the weekend :)

Last year there were 27 kiosks, with multiple food and drink items at each. The pictures of the signs posted should give you a good idea of the offerings. Is one day enough? Heck no! At least not for me.

And I'm chiming in on the infamous October 17 mob crowd. It had to be due to the weather being around 60 degrees instead of the 90 degree days during most of October. At least that's my theory why they were so well behaved. They weren't hot and cranky. ;)

We were there the last week in September last year, and there were NO lines anywhere. We could just walk up to every booth and get what we wanted, there were always places to sit and enjoy the food and drinks. I am hoping that this year is not a mad house while we are there the second week of October this year.

no problem, I am just glad i could help.

We always take a ton of pictures, just to remember what we had. our memories are not as good as they used to be. :rotfl:

WOW!! I am literally drooling! Thank you! I cannot wait!

Those photos bring back some great memories. I was there for the 2009 FWF and had many of the dishes pictured. Yummy! I am going back for the 2010 FWF. I can't wait!

Excellent thread! Thanks for the pictures. It may help me decide on a few things ahead of time since they don't change a whole lot each year.

I am glad you all enjoyed the pictures. DH and I had a fabulous time and are really looking forward to returning this year. I wish the crowds would be like they were last year for us but I am not holding my breath. See you all there.:dance3::cheer2:
