I always said that the only thing that would make Disney perfect for me is if Rick Springfield would be there .

I just saw he is going to be there and it is just a couple of weeks after I will have been in WDW for the Halloween Party .

My Dh is on the phone trying to book a room for us LOL , I am so excited I had to share with my fellow DIS Board Rick Springfield lovers....

I can't wait to go. I'll probably be going Nov. 11th,and as soon as the World Showcase opens up,I'll be bringing my camping chair and set up outside the AGT. I'll switch off with my mother when I want lunch,or have to do my "business".

I looked at flights - $59.99 per leg plus all the taxes they add.
I'd need a car because that's into Sanford - more $$$$$.
A hotel - more $$$$.
Ticket - not sure, I think I have a day left on an old park hopper / non-expiry ticket.

But still, I know my DH would say no. WAAAAAAHHHHHH!

I've been after my DH for years to move to Florida. We have this 4 letter word stuff up here called *snow*. YUCK! Every year he complains even more about it and every year I ask him when he is just going to accept that we need to move. Just last month he finally accepted we're moving ... but he said not for 3 years. He doesn't like to rush into anything.

Of course there will be finding employment for each of us, housing and a school for DS who'll be 13 by then. Someday.

Thank God for DVC and Seasons Pass or I dont think my Dh would even think about it .

I have been to WDW 3 times already this year , and we will have just been home 10 days when Rick is going to be there.

I will see Rick in Oct when he is here in Dallas and I have seen him 2 times already .

BUT now to have them Mickey and Rickey all in the same place I couldnt pass on this .

I am flying in the 9th and going back home on the 12th because my DH did say NO to a longer Disney trip bawhwhwhahaa.

Really lets set up a meet there

He'll be performing Nov. 10th and 11th. I can only go the 11th because I can't afford to take more than one day off from subbing. Actually,I really can't afford the one day, but after all, it IS Rick!!!!!!

I flew home on Monday night and then went and stood in line for his book signing the on Tuesday . When I told Rick I was going to go to Disney to see in him he started laughing and said " that is so nice of you sweetheart" If my Dh had not taped it I wouldnt have remembered it I was so crazy .
In my book it says " To Mishell I will see you in Disney Love Rick Springfield"

So in about a week I will be flying back to FL to see him . I will take lots of pics and post them when we get back . I am so excited

WAAAHHHH. My DDS, DDIL and DGS are visiting us that week. I can't wait until January when I will be living 30 minutes away.

I saw him a couple of years ago. He threw his guitar offstage and busted his roadie's head. The ambulance had to come, and apparently he was the only roadie that could tune guitars. Other than that, it was a fun, fun concert. Even my kids danced.

Do you know he's 61? I know times flies but really. When I heard someone say that last week I had an out of body moment. I think I even checked the volume control on the TV. How is this possible?

He looks 35-45 - has he done something?
