They just announced on our local news that they will also be offering BEER from 2 dozen countries this year in addition to the Wines.

OOH RA! I really hate wine and I was hoping there would be something to drink other then water. I was raised in Germany and Beer was the drink of choice. YUM! Helen

Good news for my DH. I am dragging him along this trip w/my parents and the boys. (not sure how willing he is but it will be my 40th) This may make it more appealing to him. (atleast I hope so)

I'd consider myself somewhat of a beer expert, and from what I've read about previous F&W fests, and what's listed for this year, I still think Disney could do a MUCH better job with world beer selections.

BUT, I also think the F&W Fest is a great way to introduce people who would otherwise just stick with the Bud, Miller, Coors brands, to the greatness and variety of diffrent brews. I think many people will try some great brews for the first time, and for that I'm excited.

In the same vein, I'd consider myself only a beginner in the world of wine. I'm always overwhelmed with all the types of wines, and have never been adventureous in my tasting. I'm really looking forward to using the F&W Fest as my first steps into the larger wine world!

They always have Beer also, this isn't new. They have done Beer tastings @ Rose & Crown for years. They also have Beer tastings offered by Sam Adams. And for those who don't drink alcohol they have Tea Tastings sponsored by Twinings.
