Has anyone done the food and wine classic at the swan and dolphin? We noticed it fits in to our dates this year.
We did a couple of the seminars that were part of the Disney food and wine and thought this might be a good option.
Any advice, comments etc would be great.

Yep, we did it in 2011 and it was so worth it

For the price of your ticket you get to eat (and drink) as much as you like. There is nowhere near the variety of Food & Wine at Epcot, but what they have is realy good quality

They also run a few seminars which are a lot of fun to join, we went to a Mixology one

There is live music and unlike F&W, there are lots of places to sit and eat and enjoy :goodvibes

I would highly recommend it - any Qs, just shout (I think I put some info in my dining reviews - link in signature)

Thanks. Can you just turn up a buy a ticket or do you need to buy in advance? We would not be interested in the room offer just the pass for the event.
I saw a video about last years and it looked great and the menus look good for this year as well. Not sure i would manage to sample all the wines but I will give it a good try lol.

I purchased our tickets in advance, printed a voucher and then exchanged the voucher for a wrist-band at the event

The Swan & Dolphin set up a micro-site closer to the event date that you can buy tickets through - you don't have to buy a package with overnight stay etc. but that is an option if you want it :thumbsup2

Perfect thanks I will keep an eye out for the micro site. Is it worth going for both nights or is one enough. I noticed its got different foods on each night.
We are staying at POFQ so no need to book the room.

One night is enough in my opinion, they do switch out some of the dishes on the second night but it's not enough of a change to warrant going twice.
It might be worth signing up for the Swan & Dolphin's email list as they will notify you when they launch ticket sales etc.
Have fun!

Thank you so much for the help. I did think it might not be worth the two nights.
