Food and drink into park?

We are traveling with 3 small children. I would like to bring a few snacks and some drinks in a small softsided cooler into the park. Is this allowed? Are they still searching bags as you enter? Thanks in advance.

The only place I've seen searchers remove food or drink from somebody was at a Six Flags park.

They are still searching bags but I don't think they're looking for food

I remember the bag inspection at MK. One kid had like a 2 lb. bag of beef jerky is his backpack and security let him through! I think small snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, but don't bring in sandwiches or something that looks like you're going to have a picnic. Leave the Thanksgiving turkey in the car.

Hide the sandwiches at the bottom of the bag, under the cookies.

I have walked right through the line with a big mac in my hand and a large drink and they let me through. So I don't think you'll have a problem.
