Food and Beverage Minimum

I have a quick questions about the food and beverage minimum. Since we changed our date to 2013, we no longer have a wedding planner for me to ask this question. We are looking to have a DP the night of our wedding. I know that a DP would count towards the overall minimum, but I would like to find out if this would count towards the per person food and beverage minimum?

I was thinking since there is food and beverage at a DP maybe it would count towards the food and beverage minimum of $125 per person.

It would count toward the overall minimum. But if your reception venue has a F&B minimum, it doesn't count toward that minimum.

I wanted to add that from what I understand (correct me if I'm wrong) it only counts if you have the DP the day of your wedding. If you do it early as a welcome party or something, it no longer counts.
