We will be hitting the parks in April. :cool1: My ds is allergic to multiple foods. I am used to WDW being extremely accomodating to his needs. I have spoken to several ppl in customer service @ IOA/US and no one can seem to direct me to the right dept. to speak to someone about the allergy issue. I would like to do some character breakfasts, but since he is allergic to eggs, I will need an alternative and someone to make sure there is no cross contamination. I do not want to have to use an epi pen on vacation. :thumbsup2 I also need to find out if peanut products are used to fry any foods in the parks. The rest we can deal with and avoid.

Does anyone know who or where I need to contact? TIA!!

Call guest services and they will get you to connect with the chefs.

There have been posts on here that the butterbeer foam contains egg, and that they are not allowed to serve it without the foam. Not sure if that is still the case, but better safe than sorry.

Thanks! I finally got to someone that gave me the scoop. I have the name & # of the chef for the parks. I will def ask about the foam in the butterbeer

We have not been to Universal yet....but have been incredibly lucky with Disney and food allergies....

I'd love to hear how your time at Universal goes re: food allergies. We won't be there until 2012.
