We have a 9 yr old with an extreme seafood allergy and a 4 yr old with a nut allergy - I seem to recall reading that there is a forum or resource for food allergies and eating at Disney? Can anyone lead me to more info?

Thanks!

If you make dining reservations on line, it will specifically ask about allergies. I don't know what happens from there, but the inquiry about allergies pops up after you click to confirma the reservation.

My 5yrd old is allergic to Milk, Egg, Peanut & Treenuts. I email special diets at disney. They will send you a list of ingrediants as well as a form to fill out for the restraunts you can fax over before your stay. We have been 2x and had a safe and relaxing trip can't wait for our Sept trip. ADR's are a must when we travel. As the prev post said they will note on the Res that there is an allergy and the Chef will come to your table and go over choices.

We have a child with nut/peanut allergies. We do say ahead of time during reservations that she has those so they are aware. At each meal they will send the chef out to your table and he/she will review any item you ask and will know what is or is not safe. We have been on several trips with no problems and they are always awesome about it. They even have special desserts wrapped in the back for people with allergies. One reason we travel so often to disney resorts is that we do not have to fear a reaction!!!!!!!!!!
