Hi All,

This is a first, not being able to find an answer. First, I have been to WDW numerous times and Disney does a fantastic job with my food allergy but that being said I do need some help.

I am going in March 2019 with my entire family (mom, dad, brother and sister-in-law) and this is the first time we will all be together at Disney in over 30 years. It has been suggested that one of our dinner be a EPCOT, specifically at one of the following: Nine Dragons, Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining (this is the consenus of where the others want to eat). Here is my problem, I have a food allergy to sesame (all sesame). I do know that Nine Dragons is out as an option as I checked with them when I was there in October 2017 and they use sesame in alot of their items. Does anyone know about the other 2 restaurants? Should I be looking at other options in EPCOT where the risk of sesame is not so great? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Jennifer

That would be a tough one. Teppan edo might be your best bet. They would cook your food in the back, not w the others on the grill. Which kinda defeats the purpose

Teppan Edo is probably going to be the easiest option since they can make plain food in the back. You’ll still get the show with everyone else but your food wouldn’t be cooked on the shared grill. That’s what they did for me when I went and I have a lot of “strange” allergies. I did run into a language barrier so would probably be helpful to bring a card with your allergy on it that the manager/chef can bring with them.
