Food allergies at Universal/IOA

Hi Everyone,

We are going to Universal/IOA for the first time. My son has serious food allergies. Last year we went to Disney and they were very accomadating. Every restaurant we went to, the chef came out and discussed what he would make for my son.

Does anyone know how the restaurants at Universal/IOA deal with food allergies?.

Also, prior to going to Disney, I made priority seatings months in advance for the places we wanted to eat. Do you do this at Universal also?? Sorry if i seem clueless, but I am a first-timer.

I also should mention that i am staying off-site.
