We will be attending MNSSHP with a friend and her daughter who is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. I have attended the party once before and I cant remember if they handed out any candy with nuts in it. Does anyone know if they have things like peanut butter cups or almond candy bars in the trick or treat stuff? Do they have different candy for kids with allergies? I want to make sure I know the deal before I tell my friend and her DD about it. Thanks!

I don't have personal experience with it, but I believe Guest Relations has alternatives for those with allergies.

From what I remember, they do have candy options that include some with nuts. I think I've gotten Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, and Peanut Chews in the past among the candy varieties they hand out.

Last year I was told that the person with allergies should take their candy to Guest Relations when exiting the park at the end of the party and the candy will be exchanged.

There are definitely candy's with nuts & peanut butter cups in there.

We were in first aid last year getting band aids and a kid came in freaking out that he'd accidentally eaten a peanut treat in the dark without really knowing.

Trick or treat, but be careful, probably don't eat much of anything until you've had time to sort through it in the light. And I feel like I've heard something of alternatives at GR. I know most places are pretty random with what they give out.

Down by Jungle Cruise usually has peanut butter cups, you can find werther's over at Pinnochios' Village Haus, and by the Stitch ride they had gummies, but I dont know about contact with nuts on these treats. Be safe, and you'll be fine!

The individual trick or treat candy stations will not have special candies, only the standard issue for that location.

However, each and every year Guest Relations will have alternative options for those individuals with allergies. Usually after the first party, someone will post what those alternatives are for that specific year. Last year Craisins was a sponsor, so something like that may be one of the substitutions available.

This information will also be included on the event map. :)

Awesome. Thanks!
