I would love to hear from anyone who has food allergies and who has eaten at HDDR. We are thinking of trying HDDR on our next trip, but our DD has peanut and tree nut allergies. Since it's not a place where you order off a menu, I was wondering how people with food allergies are accomodated.

Thanks!

We never ate at HDDR, but have eaten at a lot of other places-- sit down, family style, and buffets. By calling ahead and discuss with the chef your concerns, disney has alawys been very accomodating. They made our DD (dairy allergy) separate food whereever we went. They even made things not on the menu.

my son also has this allergy....no problem at hddr. As I always do, as you probably always do....no matter what anyone says, I always ask upon arrival.

We had planned to do HDDR last trip and DH & I have special dietary needs. The CM when I called for the reservation gave me a special number to call and said I should call them 2 days prior and they could serve us whatever we needed. We ended up having to change our plans and didn't do HDDR.

Just give the disney dining folks acall and they'll give you the info.

:)

Thanks for the replies everyone. If we do decide to go to HDDR, I will be sure to call ahead and make sure they'll have something that's safe for DD to eat.

I have nut and peanut allergies, I don't think there's anything on the menu there I can't eat.

Went with a friend with wheat allergies, they prepared a wondreful meal special for her.
