Weren't folks here talking about fondue recently? A $94 fondue set is in the gold box sale at Amazon tight now for $29.99

Be sure to find the recipes for the broth fondues. They're amazing and so much better than oil!

I have the Cuisinart Fondue Pot and I LOVE IT!

My favorite restaurant is the Melting Pot - so I got the fondue pot for home because I figured it would save a lot of money. It's still not as good as going to the restaurant, but it's still very yummy! And much cheaper!

We do fondue quite a bit.

Just a tip, the cheese can get pricey. We do chocolate and cheese mostly--not the oil based stuff.

We did cheese at NYE and it was very good premade mix from the gourmet cheese dept at my local Wegmans.

We do broth only. I've never had it with oil, and that just doesn't sound good to me!

Good cheese is worth the price, IMO. I usually spend about $11 - $12 for the cheese for our cheese fondue. And a loaf of french bread is only $2! It's still cheaper than going to the restaurant!

Does anyone have the link for this? I think I missed it.

What brand was it? Is it a good one? I bought a cheap one at target and it was a mess.

It was the special yesterday afternoon, so not available at the same price. I couldn't find an item number but the name brand is Tuxton I think. It said yesterday it was regularly 94. Today's price is 39.99 so my 29.99 wasn't as special as they made me think it was!
