Folks who are so excited about VGF2

Now I get it. 1.5 million points ADDITIONAL competing for the same rooms at VGF1. Welcome to the devaluation of VGF1 owners' points. Wow. Well, at least we don't have to fight at the 7 month window anymore. It was hardly worth the fight now for non-owners. Now there's going to be nothing to fight over.
Well, there will be 200 new resort studios to go along with those millions of points. And I suppose that some of those new owners are going to want to book VGF1 studios and villas. I just wonder how many existing VGF owners are going to want resort studios in BPK. I know that I don't.

Which is really the big question! I am adding on..assuming my guides hint I am going to be happy in two days..to stay at VGF1 and not the new rooms.

I think the disappointment that these lack some important features of the deluxe studio is that it does create enough of a difference to potentially cause more demand for existing units if new owners who want those things.

I also wonder how many existing members are going to add-on with points at VGF 2.0, since at the 7 month mark you should be able to get a resort studio no problem now, just like at Poly. Except for December reservations, is there really a reason to add-on?

If people are worried about what these will do for the 7 month window for the 1 or 2 bedrooms may also choose to add?

I will be using mostly in December but did want the home resort advantage for 1 bedrooms during the winter months so I don’t have to wait.

But, for those that just want to be there and don’t care which studio you get, I agree no need to rush to add on and see what happens.

Put me in the column of looking forward to these villas, but I don't want to own there and don't think I'll need to either. We normally stay in a 1 bedroom, but I'm not interested in those at GF. These will be great for a shorter stay and my kids can each have their own bed.

20 year BWV owner with plenty of points and had no intention to ever add more, but the pricing of VGF2 this week was just too good to pass up. I really enjoy that resort and it’s become harder to book @ less than 11 months out.

So bought a small contract today and will probably stay there in a studio every couple years for 3-4 nights before/after a split stay at Boardwalk (where we will do our larger 2 BR when with family etc). With this in mind I won’t much care whether I get the deluxe studio or a resort studio, and I’m really looking forward to spending time at VGF every so often!
