Folding laundry...

I fold my clothes right out of the dryer, however I can see my TV from where I fold them, so, usually, yeah, I watch TV. My dryer is in a weird place because its basically in the living room. My house was built in 1955 and had a carport with a small utility room at the back. This is where the dryer went - common to the houses in this neighborhood since dryers weren't common when they were built. Anyway, my carport was closed in to make a bigger living room, but the dryer hookups are where they are, so it is in a little closet by a side door. The washer is in the kitchen, as the house was designed with that in mind, so they are not side-by side - but it's all open so they aren't far either.

We dump on the bed and I sort - DH's uniforms in a basket where they stay, DD's in a basket to put away, and I do the rest at lightning speed. No music or TV.

Speaking of which I have 3 loads to put away. Ugh.

We also wash everything together. Lol. No sorting to wash.

I use a laundry service but I have no idea if they watch tv while doing it.

Definitely while watching tv. Growing up, bring the basket up from the basement. In our current home, I have line of site from the laundry room to the tv.

I have a coin laundry room in the basement of our building. We have a TV down there for people who preferred to watch while doing laundry. But, I always prefer to bring it right back up, sit and start folding and sorting into piles placed around me on the bed, while watching TV.

Laundry happens on Sunday in our house. Anything the goes on a hanger gets down “right from the dryer”. Anything else comes into the family room, and i will often have the TV on, keeping an eye on my favorite sports teams. I need to do something while the games are on, so laundry is perfect.
