Folding Bicycles

Has anyone ever tried those folding bicycles out?
If so what brands and how did they perform?
We camp in a pop up so space is at a premium. There are five of us so that many bikes are a pain to try and transport.

My wife and I always camp with our Dahon folding bikes. We have had them at least 10 years. We have the single speed models, which are fine for flat campgrounds like FW, but I probably would go for a multispeed when I have to replace them. Very reliable, quick to set up and take down, fit in a small area, comfortable to ride.

I bought a six-speed Adventurer folding bicycle at Camping World. I've ridden it along the nearby bikepath 8 miles round trip and it did just fine. I added a basket to the front that turns into a shopping basket, also from Camping World. For camping it is nice. If you are a member, Camping World has them for $129.

We also have two folding Dahons, the 6 speed model. We've had them for over six years. Never had a problem with them except for one flat tire.

They are great for around campgrounds and paved roads, they are not any good for off road, mountain biking.

I'd buy them again in a heartbeat!
