Foldable Raincoat

I am looking for a small portable raincoat for the parks. I really do not want to buy the $1. disposable store brand because we go to the parks often and in the end it will cost more money to keep purchasing them and honestly they are not that waterproof.

Does anyone know where I can buy them. I have seen people with Mickey Mouse one and really would love to purchase them.

If you mean the thin ponchos with mickey on them that a lot of people wear they buy them at the parks-they sell them there whenever there is rain
If you don't want a mickey one you can buy a reusable poncho in the camping section at target Walmart etc

I really do not like those Mickey ponchos, have a couple of them already. The ones I am mentioning are the ones that are red, yellow, and black.

In the area around Disney most of the stores have some selection of ponchos. I have seen them at Target, Walmart, and Joann, and the characters available vary from Mickey and Minnie to Perry to Princesses

I went to my local thrift store and picked up decent quality ponchos. I agree - the dollar store stuff is good in a pinch, but not for any lengthy use in a massive downpour. We bought the kind that can be folded up into an attached pouch (mostly a pocket in the front). We liked it.

I prefer to use an actual rain jacket that folds up in a bag. We have been using Eddie Bauer brand that we found at the outlet store. They work well to repel the rain.

Yes, I live an hr from Disney and never thought about going to those stores around the Disney Area.

If any of the stores in your area have a Disney section, that's where I would look.

I'm about 5 minutes from property, so every store within a 10-15 mile radius has some sort of Disney area.

I bought 4 of the disposable rain poncho's from Walmart (I think) about 6 years ago. They take up 4"X4"X 1/2" in your backpack, fanny pack or even your pocket. I have gone every year since purchasing them and have used only one... 3 still left unused. Total investment $4.00 plus tax.
