After staying in the AKV (Jambo) with the fold out chair for the 5th person in a 1 bedroom, I was wondering if other resorts would be getting this AWESOME chair? I know that BLT has them. However we haven't stayed at any other DVC resort (other than Jambo) so we don't really know how the room sizes compare to even know if this is a reasonable hope.

There probably isn't room in the other villas except for OKW and I hope they don't add them there. These villas were advertised and sold as 4 or 8 guests, not 5 or 9.

are those chairs comfortable?

are those chairs comfortable?

I offered to let my 8 year old daughter crash with me in the master bedroom the last night of our recent BLT stay and she declined - said she loved her chair bed.

The sleeper chair is being installed at VB already. I would not be surprised to see them added at other DVC resorts as time goes on.

So they are in Jambo now? I thought it was just Kidani. If so that is awesome. We were going to try for conceirge next year but wasn't sure we would be able to do a 1 bedroom since there are 5 of us. My DS gets to try the chair in Dec but he is a weird kid he likes to sleep on his futon chair and the chair at WDW is bound to be more comfortable.

Jambo has had them from day 1 except for the Value 1BR and 2BRs which are too small to accommodate a sleeper chair. That's why the occupancy of the Value 1/2BRs is 4/8 instead of the 5/9 for all the other AKV 1/2BRs.

Jambo's 1 & 2BRs do not have the extra bathroom that the Kidani rooms have, in case that makes a difference to you.

I for one *would* be surprised if they were added to other resorts. After our recent stay in a 1br at SSR (which is very similar in size to BCV and BWV from what I understand), I can't imagine how there would be space. When the sofa sleeper was unfolded at SSR there was very little room for anything else given the placement of the breakfast bar, chairs and TV unit.
