FoF Parade

Current plan of attack for this parade, it to do it on a MVMCP night in MK but we won't actually be attending the party that night. So wondering if this is good plan. Plan on arriving MK at RD, haven't decided if using FP in this park or the one we hop too. Want to see the FoF Parade and then leave to go to DHS. Thinking will need to save the FP for DHS as my Mom wants to ride TSM as many times as possible during our trip. Also debating on Fantasmic! Dinner Package that night to get centre seats.

Best spots along the parade route to get pictures, ideally head on? Willing to wait for up to an hr (with snacks) before the parade starts.

What is the latest dining reservation time you can get for Fantasmic! 6:30? And do you think it is possible to see the parade at MK and get to DHS for the reservation? How long would it take to get from the front of MK to gates of DHS?

Also, when two showings of Fantasmic! 6:30 and 8pm. Is it possible to get seats in the centre and how early do you need to line up? Can u get a FP for the centre for the 8pm show?

So much to consider for this trip. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

We went to Frontierland to see the Festival of Fantasy parade and were able to sit on one of the low stone walls near the Shooting Gallery next to an opening to the sidewalk. They did not allow anyone to stand in the opening to the sidewalk from the street. The cast members told us that we were good to stay where we were sitting. From those seats no one can be in front of you. The parade comes right out of the doors near the train crossing. We had a perfect view. I cannot answer your questions about Fanstsmic! as we have never done the Dinner Package. Have fun!

You can get a FP for the center section of the second show of Fantasmic!, and likely as a 4th or 5th FP the day-of.

Interesting plan. RD at MK is smart if you don't plan on using FP+'s in MK..........depending on the day your going (not busy Christmas time......or busy Christmas time). The parade starts at 3pm so you have plenty of time to enjoy the MK. Best photo spots for head on shots are to the left of the castle just as they come out of Frontierland.........same is true on the right as the parade enters Main St. We had FP location in Sept 2014 and had a great view. I've attached the Youtube link of the video we did from that location.......in front of the castle and a bit to the right. Either side of the street is fine at this location too.

thanks ... want to be able to get pictures and always sit at the sides and end up having no lights over the characters as they go by on the boats
