FOF Parade twice daily?

I recall the parade being scheduled twice a day (12:00 & 3:00) during peak days. Do you think we'll see that again and if so what will the times be? I'm particularly interested in the schedule for Easter weekend.

I wouldn't want to guess at times, but I wouldn't be surprised if the parade were to run twice a day perhaps right around Thanksgiving, and again around Christmas / New Years.

I don’t believe FOF runs at all during the last ten days or so of December.

The late December timing would likely be 12:00N and 3:30PM.
And, when that happens, it would be the Merry Christmas Parade.


Regarding near Easter, the FoF Parade would likely also run at both 12:00N and 3:30PM.

Oh . .. good catch there. I was so busy thinking about whether the parade would run twice, and if I could recall times, that it never even dawned on me that it wouldn't be FOF for Christmas.

Does the FOF ever run more than twice in a day leading up to its sabbatical? We will be there Dec 16th on a Saturday. We have always wanted to see it but we are "one of those" that go to the resort for a break during that time and have missed it every year. If the 3oclock parade is at 2oclock still (I haven't looked into it yet) maybe we'd stay long enough to see this time (prob not though).

No, FoF will run on its regular 2:00 scheduling up until Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade begins its “daily ops” runs on Dec. 23rd at 12:00 and 3:30.

Do you know when they typically officially announce this? Right now it is still showing just one at 3 pm for that time period

I’m not sure if it is officially announced. The CMs may be told there will be twice a day FoFs but will only have confirmation of the changes 2 weeks in advance.

When Disney anticipates large crowds for the days following Easter, they’ll make last minute changes to keep FoF at twice per day.

You would be safe to block out 3:00-3:45 for FoF in your MK schedule.
