FOE effect already 'broken'?

We were in the world last week and rode FOE and I noticed that Olaf didn't bounce along with our boat at the beginning of the ride.

Is that effect retired (like the crushed car used to be on Test Track and the Yeti), or did I just miss it.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't--been true since FEA opened.
