Alternative = Emo.

And I used to listen to them all the time. Never heard anything about it being Christian...and if I remember correctly, their website says nothing about them being Christian. But I'll check.

And...people here have had conversations about this (alternative/emo) before. Basically...you can call it whatever you want.

Alternative has many different aspects of it.
You can't just call it emo.
A long time ago Dell had this thing where you had to tell them the song name on their Dell Jukebox game. Alternative definately didn't have any of these bands listed here.

why don't you form your own opinions instead of just regurgitating whatever "everyone" else is telling you? You're so adiment about calling things what YOU want, but then YOU turn around and say YOU don't know what YOU are talking about.

Go listen to some alternative, go listen to some indy, go listen to some emo, THEN call the lot of it whatever the hell YOU want, but don't just spit up what you've been told by everyone else.

Ok, so i've listened to Fall Out Boy and it's just not really what I like.
I'm pretty in love with what I like and, well, it's not what I like.
