I was wondering if anyone who recently has flown to Orlando would be able to tell my wife and I if they've had their toddlers diaper creme or other 'baby' stuff confiscated at the security check point. We use the Penaten daily creme for our little one and were wondering if we'd be ok with the tube or if we'd have to 'repack' it into a tiny container for the flight. We're going to pack some also in our suitcases but the creme for the diaper bag during the flight was what got us wondering. Any feedback would be appreciated

From what I can tell it'd have to be under the 3 oz/100 ml rule to be carry on, and fit in your baggie. (One zip-lock sandwich size baggie per traveller full of as many tiny bottles or tubes as you can cram in...) Can you buy a small tube for the carry on diaper bag while you pack the regular tin in your checked luggage? (The product in the tube isn't as thick as the stuff in the flat tin, but it'd probably be ok for the 2 or 3 changes you'd be making enroute, depending on your baby's age.) I do think you can buy smaller tins, that MIGHT fit under 100 mls, but not sure of the exact size. I spent last night jamming things into baggies for our carry on for Thurday, so haven't put it to the test yet, but I've sure done my research! It's got me freaked out a little, esp as we're flying from a US airport. I'm also carrying a small thingie of wipes, and have made sure that can fit in my baggie, as I'm not sure how it qualifies.

HTH, have a great trip!
