Hi everyone,

We are flying with Thomas cook next September (virgin was just a little too pricey for us... Rather save the extra pennies for shopping!)

Just wondering if anyone else has and what is the leg room like? I'm keep wondering wether to upgrade or not as it is only 3 inches.

Also does anyone know if you can buy an extra luggage case to being back on the way?

Thank you :-)
Beth

Hi

I have booked with Thomas Cook for next year, it depends which aircraft they use leg room varies between 31" to 33"
As regards luggage I believe you can purchase extra luggage but they only allow you to purchase an extra amount of either 25kg or 30kg not an extra suitcase and think you have to do that for both ways

Great, thanks.
Have you upgraded your leg room? Have you flown with them before? As just wondering what the entertainment is like

Hi, we have just booked with Flythomascook for next year (think it's the same as TC). I spent over 30 mins on the live chat asking loads of questions including in flight entertainment, they came back with this website, for an A330, you can choose a B757-200 and B767
http://www.formstack.com/forms/?1418911-GtxHwoThCY

The films are not VOD

The seat pitch is 33" and seat width is 16.5"

We flew with them in 05 and they were ok, I'm hoping they have upgraded since then :) but we are flying into MCO instead of SFB

Hope this helps :thumbsup2

That's so much help thank you, Are you going to pre book your seats?

We're also flying into MCO. I've never done a long haul flight and we will be flying in the day so won't want to be sleeping, just trying to think of what to do for 10 hours! Might have to load up the iPad haha!

We booked our seats when we bought the tickets, you could buy a package which included seats, meals and baggage, as there are 8 of us going we wanted to sit together, so picked the 4 sets of 2 seats :)

We flew with TC yesterday as was pleasantly surprised. DH is 6ft 2ins and the legroom was fine for him. The films were a bit limited and not on demand but we had some on the iPads anyway so it didn't matter. They try to sell you headphones for £2.75 or an adaptor for you own headphones for£2.00 but we used our own and just had sound in one ear which worked ok. The food was ok and our vegetarian meals were actually edible for a change, the drinks and snacks that they sell are quite expensive so I would recommend you take some with you. Staff were very friendly and attentive, hopefully our flight home will be equally as good.

went with TC last oct

the fight going out was rubbish no airbus just a old Boeing sardine tin

coming back got stung for $300 for 10kg overweight

also a 4 hour delay and you got a voucher for somthing it eat but had to put money to it but was an airbus on the way back

You can get the adaptors from Ebay for about 99p for 2 from China. Will def take drinks and snacks with us, do you still get the free bottle of water in the seats?
