Flying with presents

I am flying to Calif to spend Christmas with my best friends.
Has anyone ever flown and taken presents with them, and if so have you had any problems, any good tips?

I will try to pack in my carryon the DVD's, CD's, and any fragile items, but some other items will have to be put in checked bag. I am also trying to stick with smaller gifts.

I heard on the news that you should not wrap the gifts until you arrive at your destination. Wrapped presents cause suspicion.

Yep, your right, thanks for posting that. I just did a Google search on flying with gifts.

Looks like I will have to pack the Cheryl's cookies I am going to take in my check in...hope they make it to my destination..

As long as gifts are unwrapped, you should be fine.
