flying with monarch

Hi there has anyone flown with monarch from cardiff recently we are going premium what do we get and what was it like thanx in advance

Hiya

Not flown from Cardiff but have done their PE Gatwick-Calgary.

No complaints at all - plenty of leg room, good food with proper cutlery, infact we had lunch at the airport on our way home, then were absolutely stuffed after plane meal!
CAbin staff always attentive, good selection of drinks - never drink alcohol when flying, but those who did were kept well stocked.
You can never bee 100% that you'll get a problem free flight, whoever you fly with (10 1/2 hrs with a screaming baby with BA!!) but we had no problem with them at all.

I have flown with them twice, just normal seats in 2005 and 2006 and couldn't fault them.

I have flown with Monarch in the premium seats before, however it was over 4 years ago. I don't remember anything bad. The legroom was big enough for me to be comfortable (i'm 5 foot 5 inches). My dad was also comfortable (he's 6 foot something). We were sat at the very front of the plane which was brilliant as we had a wall in front of us instead of seats. There was also a TV screen in the wall in front of us. I don't remember if every seat has a TV screen in the headrest in front.

However overall the experience was comfortable and there were plenty of movies to watch and the meals were quite nice.

My boyfriend and I are travelling on Monarch in August and we've paid extra for the premium seating.

When are you going? we fly from Cardiff in premium on 17th july. You get extra luggage allowance on our tickets it says 30kg plus 5kg hand , you only need to check in 1 hour before flight.
