Flying with Jet Blue

We LOVE Jet Blue. Flew into and out of JFK on Jet Blue. I only wish they offered more routes! Kids loved the TV's and snacks and the attendants were the best (I too enjoyed watching my CBS soaps on them! ). We actually arrived ahead of schedule each way too.

We LOVE Jetblue too! They're our first choice for any plane trip. They have comfortable seating, TVs at all the seats, etc.

I've always found them to be reliable. I had to wait awhile for a flight to California once, but that's because there was fog grounding all flights, so certainly not their fault.


I prefer Jetblue to Southwest, which is our other local discount airline because the seats are more comfortable and Jetblue has assigned seating.

my only complaint about jet blue was that i was watching a very interesting TV show on the in-seat TV, and we landed before the show was over! grrrr

I'm glad to hear this! We're flying them for the first time in December and I have already been impressed just navigating the web site! I LOVE that you can pick your seat and they tell you where there is more leg room. DH is 6'2", so that is always a big consideration. I'm looking forward to having the TVs to distract me.

I just noticed that my flights to Orlando next month, are significantly lower than what we paid? I just call them up and tell them "hey, the fare is lower now, can I get credit?"

Yes you can. DH did that for one of our trips. I think the credit was tied into his frequent flyer number so that it showed up automatically the next time he booked something. I'm not 100% sure about that though. We had 1 year to use the credit.

JetBlue is now the only airline we use to fly to CA to visit my family. The only downside is that we always take the early morning departure from Boston and there is not much on at that time of the day.
