Flying with aerosole sun screen?

I just bought some aerosole sun screen for our up coming trip and then it dawned on me that I may not be able to check an aerosol can. Does any one know if I can put aerosole sun screen in my checked bag? Thanks Nettii

of course. you can check anything you want. it becomes a problem when its carry on.

Yes we brought in our checked lugguage, you can NOT put it in your carryon.

Just a word of advice......put it in a large zip lock because the difference in pressure can sometimes cause some of the aresol to "leak Out".... Trust me on this....I found out the hard way with hairspray and sunscreen.....I had a suitcase of clothes waiting to be washed at the start of my vacation.....lol

We had ours in our checked baggage which we found out was overweight when we got to MCO. We hurriedly moved stuff to our carry-ons not realizing we put the brand new wrapped package of aerosole sunscrean in a carry on. They took it at security. Oh well, it was only 8$.

Yes you can check your spray sunscreen.

You can fly with aerosol in your checked bags in limited amounts as long as it is a personal care item. So hairspray or sunscreen would be ok but lysol aerosol is not. FWIW I don't think the continuous spray type2 sunscreens are aerosol but I don't have a can handy to check.
