if my flight arrives at 9:50...how long should i expect it to take for me to get to my resort..should i use me..or hire a car?

When we were there this past Oct, it took less than an hour to get off the plane and to our resort using ME. I would recommend it to anyone!

Being able to check your luggage at the airport when you leave and have it arrive in your room is the main reason for ME, for us anyway.

It only takes about an hour..check in at ME, enter the right line for your resort and hop on the bus. Easy.

We have heard that ME is a disaster? We also heard that it takes forever for your luggage, it is held hostage until way late in the evening? What is the deal? I also would like to add, that we have never used this service, only because of the nightmare stories about it?

I used ME in may when i went... took less then an hour to get to our resort... were were checked in in less then 30min and our room was ready... then in an hour our luggage was there... so in total our luggage got to us in 2 1/2 hours... not too bad....

We have used it twice. Did not have to wait long to get to our resort. And our bags arrived only a few hours after we did. Plenty of time to unpack and get everyone ready for dinner ADR's. I guess everyone has different experiences, but I must say that mine was a great experience both times. We traveled in July and September and both times got into Orlando during the late morning.

Hmm.. Well I think you are definitely missing out!! We have been an quite a few times over the past years and we Love ME. We always bring a carry on with bathing suits and anything we think we will need when we arrive. But I can't remember feeling like I was waiting around for my luggage.. Or didn't have it before putting kids to sleep.

We always bring a carry on with bathing suits and anything we think we will need when we arrive. But I can't remember feeling like I was waiting around for my luggage.. We always rent a car.......it just makes it easier for us. We like to go when we please and ride around checkin out the scenery.

We did ME on New Year's Eve - and we really enjoyed it! Got to the resort quickly, checked in, went and played and found our luggage in our room when we got back. No problems on the return either - highly recommend it for ease of travel!

We are using the ME in March and I am looking forward to it. We plan on heading straight to MK as soon as we arrive, so we don't care if our luggage takes a few hours to arrive or not. As long as it's in my room by the time we get back that evening.

When ME drops us off at the resort we always tip because the driver stores our carry-ons and stroller in the "cargo area" of the bus. The amount depends on how many bags the driver stores, and a little extra because the drivers are usually extremely friendly.

Depending on which airline you take you may be able to check-in your luggage at your resort. So you may just have your carry-ons during your ME ride at the end of your vacation going back to the airport.

Just a warning or tip -- if you want or need to have something when you arrive (like if you want to change clothes for an ADR or have swim suits to swim), bring it in your carry-on just in case. Although generally the luggage gets to you fairly quickly, on our trip in May it didn't arrive in our room until almost midnight (our plane landed at 4:45 pm). We had brought clothes to change into in our carry ons so we could go to dinner and DTD that evening, but if we hadn't done that, we would have been pretty uncomfortable walking around in the Florida heat in our jeans.
