Delta announced this morning that airfare from Philadelphia to Orlando roundtrip is only $119 ! This price is good up until February of 2004 too! This is the cheapest I've seen in years at least since 9/11. The flights are not non-stop but at this price who cares! I would jump on this quick....I doubt it will be around for long.

WOW! I hope some of our board friends grab this fare. Still waiting here in the Wash. DC area for a decent fare. The best I can find for my times and out of Dulles is $240. This would be the highest I've ever paid in the 30+ trips I've taken to WDW.

Where did you see this? The lowest I can see is $179 pp. Please let me know, I might take this one up!!

Jel0511,

If you go to www.travelocity.com, punch in Philadelphia to Orlando, do "Search all Dates", and how many passengers, you'll see the $119 fare come up. Also, if you go to www.delta.com you can do it there. I found out about the far this morning because I have my flight search tuned to Orlando.
If you use Delta.com directly like I did you'll save a few bucks because Travelocity and the like charge a surcharge for using their service. It's only like 5 or so bucks but I booked mine today just on Delta.com and with tax it came to $137.50.

I can beat that -- Allentown airport (Lehigh Valley I think it is called) Southeast Airlines, we got roundtrip to Sanford/Orlando for $133 each (all inclusive tax, additional charges, etc.). It is also non-stop. I absolutely have to fly non-stop! I'm nervous enough going up and down once per flight.

I can't find the $119 fare!!:( All I can find is $183 with connecting flights. Help!! Are the fares gone already?

The $119 doesn't include any taxes/fees, so the lowest is really $139. I also just checked with Travelocity, which is where I finally found the fare, and it is now gone. Either was just a quickie sale, or a computer glitch that some lucky people were able to take advantage of. I didn't, because I was waiting to talk to DH. Oh well, I guess we're back to driving....

I lucked out, I checked Delta's site today at lunch, saw the $137.50 price, jumped on the phone to get seats for our trip in August.
The best part is, on out last trip in Dec, we had a delay in Atlanta on the way down, about 4 hours. Delta sent us vouchers for $125 each for the delay. So, this trip cost us $12.50 each,:earseek: what a deal.

KALLISON-
Is SE still running out of LVI? Every time I try to go to their website, it says that particular flight isn't running. How do you get transportation for Orlando/Sanford?

There are no delta flights from Atlanta to Orlando with room left on Dec 18, 19, 20th...I can get to Atlanta but not into Orlando....I was just checking on the price.....no price cause there are no seats...

Just wanted to update everyone and let them know that the sale fare that I first posted is gone as of this morning 3/20/03. Knowing the industry I am not suprised. However, I am so, so glad that I purchased my tickets yesterday because I had that feeling. I paid a total of 137.50 roundtrip and that's a bargain that I haven't seen in a while. I'll be using these tickets to run the 2004 WDW in January....I can't wait!!!
