Flying out of Buffalo. Can we pack food?

We are flying out of buffalo.
We were advised to take snacks , Capri Drink pouches and stuff down...can we pack this stuff in our checked luggage?

You can pack pretty much anything you want in your checked luggage (no flammable liquids, etc). For food products, you can pack anything you want.


However, you will have a problem crossing the US border with some meat products, or meat by products. You'll need to buy those in the USA.

Yes, usually you can pack stuff like noodle cups and granola bars, which I do. But, no liquids, meats or fruit and veg. Unless it is packaged. This will delay you... big time...
