Flying out of BDL on Song after 12/1.....

They did it again! The early morning flight (2033) scheduled to leave at 8:15 AM, is now 7:15 AM, was and is currently 6:50AM!! Check your returns also. The 1:00 PM flight has been moved to 12:00 Noon. This is now the first flight out of MCO each day.

The kicker here is they've changed the flight numbers on the return leg, so if you are using ME you will need to call and update the information.

So, if you're viewing reservations online you will not be able to see your seat assignments. Simply call the 1-800 number and they will reissue your seats. You may also have a chance of switching flights....as an example, the people on the 1:00 flight have now been rebooked on the 12:00 flight. If you want a few extra hours you can probably be rebooked on the 3:00 PM flight. It works!

I was just posting about this to another thread. My Jan. flt. is the same one you speak of now back to 7:15am. It has changed 6 times since I made the ressie in June. I liked the 8:15am take off but there still is plenty of time for it to change a bunch more times!

I just got off the phone to have the seats reassigned again. They have dropped to 2 flts. (for some late Dec/Jan dates) for the return to BDL from 3 so hopefully because I have the late flt. out they won't be cancelling that just maybe altering the exact time of the flt. There are several days that I saw in Dec. where there is just the 1 flt. returning to BDL so I hope everyone is checking their flts. it will be a shock if they thought they were leaving Disney in the am or afternoon to find they will now leave at almost 8:00pm getting in at 10:30pm.

Not flying out of BDL but Logan, and they changed my completely full flight from 4:45 to 6:55 for my return to Boston on Dec 4!!!! Now, I wait for my flight down to change. It's one of several morning flights that have prices of $199 vs. $79 for the two earliest flights. And they are not anywhere near full. My flight is about 1/3 full. I'm sure my 10:50 will change before I fly on Nov 30!!! It looks like Delta/Song is changing their flights at all their airports.

I am flying song in 11 days and that flight as well as my return flight hasn't changed one bit. But let me tell ya, I am watching it like a hawk!

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll have to go and check my flights too! I leave before 12/1, but now I will watch the flights more carefully. I usually fly out of PVD (slightly closer to Mystic than BDL), but got such a great deal on Song with direct flights. Can't top that when traveling alone with a 5yr old.

DANAW - what are your dates?

I am going back down on Feb 15 for a week. Getting frustrated waiting for SW to release dates. Any other options for us CT people I should look into?

Our dates are Nov 6-13th....I almost hope our flight times change! I would love an earlier flight down (of course with my luck, they would give us a later flight). We leave at 4:15
As far as your question about other options for people from CT; if you want to fly out of BDL, its just Song or SW for non-stops!

We are also scheduled to fly on Song Feb. Our flight #'s and times also changed. When I called to see about our seat assignments, the woman (very nice) on the phone told me that if schedule changes happen, it is usually once a month and usually the first Saturday. She also said that if there are no equipment changes that the seats will automatically be reassigned. I'll still call if it happens again - better to be safe than sorry! I figure I'll need to check 4 more times for possible changes . We'll be there with some of you - Nov. 6-11 and Feb. 16-25. We'll be the ones with lots of kids (actually just 5).
