Flying out of Bangor Maine?

When you fly out of Bangor Maine to Orlando which airline do you use? Going end of November. How long should I wait to book. $$$$ Big bucks right now.

Can you get a better price flying out of a slightly larger city maybe in New Hampshire or possibly down in Boston. Check the online prices as often as you can several days a week. Right now I'm really surprised at prices going into Providence compared to us flying to the west coast from northeast Florida.

Jet Blue flys out of Portland, Maine and depending on your date you can fly return for $198 plus taxes. Four people for just under $1000 US.

Just a thought.

Ditto on Portland...we got Christmas flights for the $99 O/W

Even if we spend $500 on driving there and back and 2 nights hotels, we're still way ahead financially for airfare.

Timewise...it's kind of blech. But the kids are older now, and we'll overnight in Saint John at my parents.

Would I like to fly out of YHZ, YQM, YSJ...yep

But only go to WDW every 2 years because the flights eat up too much of our budget...??

Na-uh.

Still going to hope for some great fares out of YHZ...then we'll just use the JetBlue seats for oh...maybe a trip in August next summer??

We usually fly out of Portland. I find the savings HUGE for the extra hour and a half of driving!

One tip.....don't take the Maine turnpike, take the 295 instead. This saves at least 20 min! and the toll!

We are flying in March and the tickets came to 1100 cnd for four of us out of Portland. Last March we flew Southwest out of NH and I paid 600cnd for four of us! This is another two hours of driving past Portland.....


IF you are going this Nov, I would book sooner than later. Just check out Kayak.com.....it checks a whole bunch of sites for the lowest fares.

Well I got a flight out of Portland ME.....Going to drive that extra bit. $1360CDN for the four of us. Not bad I hope. Thanks for the advice.

We booked with expedia out of portland. $294.00 return Canadian for April 28, 2007. It was $360.00 return Canadian out of Bangor.

I booked this past week for my future in-laws flying out of Bangor and paid $312.73 CDN to fly Delta including all taxes for this upcoming January. FMIL is not comfortable with driving to Portland, so Bangor it was!
