Prices are nuts. Currently thinking march 5-14 on delta for 398 each. Better than any US flight. I'll take any suggestions! Never seen it this high.

Syracuse is a GREAT airport to fly out of. Small and so easy to navigate.

Its also great to clear customs at the border and avoid that extra step at the airport.

At sub $400 and it fits your date ... I'd buy it. Even in the US things are high!

Thanks all. Webworms, that flight is now 513 - not sure how a few hours changes it that much. Those were ideal. Direct and everything. I may look tomorrow morning and see if it's a morning thing LOL.

Flight times for those Syracuse flights are pretty rough. Not a fan of more than 1 stop. I'll keep searching. Thanks again all!

I'll echo that Syracuse is a great place to fly out of, but the cheap flights just aren't there anymore. I flew 4 people SYR to MCO for less than $1200 over Christmas in January 2011. By January 2012 it was cheaper to fly out of Ottawa on WestJet, but that was still $2600. This year we are driving ;)

We are flying out of Syracuse next month; it's so much cheaper than Ottawa. I'd recommend you check out Jet Blue.

Oh, I definitely agree.

We booked in January for our August flights.........paid $868 return for all three of us (direct flights via Jetblue, so baggage, seat selection and snacks are included). Flying Sunday to Sunday.

Fast forward to our Christmas trip. Similar dates (Sunday to Sunday), direct flights.......$2188.80 :faint: . Oh. My. God.

We were able to secure flights from Buffalo for our dates, Airtran to MCO and Jetblue to BUF, for $1124.

Just checked those AC nonstop flights from Montreal for your dates Mar 5 - 14 at 10:24AM this morning and they are available for $99 each way or $323rt inc taxes.

Webworms, what site are you seeing this on? Tx incld I see 513? I really want that price. Even a travel agent isn't seeing this price because I have them on the hunt. Let me know!

I flew Syracuse last year and loved it and Jet Blue but those flights are all over 500 each.

Sorry webworms, I just saw that price. It allows it for 1 person but not for my family of 4. Thanks for checking it out for me!

As of today delta is the best out of ottawa...222 going 172 coming back.No hassle of the long drive and expenses to syracuse{gas, wear and tear on your vehicle, hotel and especially your time} and what seems even longer coming back{after leaving Disney}.Do customs here in ottawa before you leave and once you're back. You could wait a little while longer though;it's still a piece away.I got our flights to disneyworld in November, a month ago for 322 pp return.

Hi all. Wanted to update as I booked yesterday on what I think is a great deal. I looked at one way itineraries out of Ottawa and found a return flight direct on WestJet for 159 each tax incld! So booked that and then got an Air Canada with stop In Montreal for 279 tax incl so my flights were 430 each for March break but flying out of Ottawa so no overnight hotel or 2 hour drive to Montreal/Syracusse! This Price was cheaper than anything I saw of any airline from any airport for March Break.
