Flying into Tampa

We are flying into Tampa Apr 8th and driving to the World . I have read that their is construction on that route so i was wondering APX how long it would take to get to the world and where the construcion is . We arrive at noon.

The construction on I-4 is east of Lakeland but it should not interrupt your trip significantly. It should take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours max. from the airport to your lodging.

wow...I was estimating about 1 hour and 15 minutes for the ride. Am I way off here? We're flying Northwest from Detroit into Tampa and need to drive to Downtown Disney. Thanks.
