Flying into Sanford - What transportation to use?

We'll be flying into Sanford this trip. Was wondering if anyone used transportation services from here, and who they used.

In the past we've used Tiffany (from Orlando Int'l). I checked their pricing from Sanford and it's more than double the cost....a little to steep for us.

Also, we'd like to do the grocery stop (for the beer!!)..

Any help is appreciated!!!!

I just checked out Sanford's website and all the transportation options. Looks like they are ALL well over $160 round trip

Looks like I'll be calling Tiffany after all

Keep in mind that it's almost an hour from Sanford to WDW. We flew into Sanford on our last trip and loved it. We used TT for that trip.

Wow, I didn't know it was an hour trip! In order to fly direct, we needed to fly to Sandord. Otherwise, we would need to take a connecting flight for Orlando Int'l.

Flying direct will be well worth it.

We'll be flying ABE to SFB and since we are planning two days at Universal/IOA, plus food stops, Belz shopping, and will be at CBM/DTD it is better to have a car available. At the airport there is Avis, Hertz, Dollar, & Alamo. After checking rates for two months now we're going with Dollar. It was about $100 less than the others for our 8 days. Hope this info helps.

My cousin just flew into Sandford. He arrived late at night to visit his father just north of Sandford. What he did was to rent a car for 24 hours and return it to a local spot the next day. He was charged I think $25.00 plus taxes and fees for the 24 hours. You can rent a car from National or Alamo and return it at several spots around WDW. I think there is one at the TTC. That way you can stop off and get whatever goodies or things that you have forgotten along the way. It may not be as convient as Tiffany or some of the other ones but it may be more in the budget. You could do that same thing on your return trip back to the airport.
