Well because DD cannot miss a college class on Friday before cruise we will have to fly out that night on a red-eye flight. If we do this through Disney it is 600 a person including transfers. If I book our own I think I can cut that price in half. As there are 5 of us that is alot of money!! I'm just nervous about possible delays that could cause us to miss the ship, I know that if we are on Disney air they would take care of us if there were delays. If we book our own we would be up a creek:( . I have the air added to our cruise now and I have untill the middle of January to drop the air before my final payment, what to do?? We would be arriving at about 8 in the morning so there is some time to be off by a few hours. Does anyone have advice for me?

Kim, is the flight non-stop? Most red-eyes are, so I would definitely book the air on your own as you no doubt could get it WAY cheaper that way. Red-eyes generally are some of the most "on time" flights available.

If you arrive at 8:00 am...and even if your flight is delayed for some reason....you will still have PLENTY of time to get to the ship before it sails. I would also be sure to have trip insurance that covers flight delays. I know it's nerve-wracking, coming from the West Coast, but I think you'll have no problems making it even if you book the air on your own.

Good luck deciding! :)

Michelle,
No, none of the flights I have seen are non-stop. They all seem to have connections. Do you know what airline might have a non-stop? Thanks for your help:)

I think as you still have time you should shop around. Although you may feel more comfortable w/Disney flights, that is very steep price to pay. We like http://www.orbitz.com/ for price comparison. Our daughter used them for her upcoming trip Dec 13-21 and got round trip from SEATAC/MCO for $175 on American. If you did the redeye you still have until 4ish pm to be on the ship. Good luck in your decision.
