As you may see i have a new ticker :goodvibes

i sooooooooo wanted to go for Xmas season :thumbsup2

we have got flights ( using our tesco airmiles!) only snag is we have to go from Heathrow!

anyone usually fly from there can recommend a place to park cheaply? ( we may get the train yet using family railcard) also somewhere to stay over the night before ?

we dont know whether to get a late flight on the fri night, or wait until early sat morn and stay overnight in Heathrow on the fri ??

as we wouldnt get to CDG until 10.05pm if we went late fri

would this be a problem in getting to the hotel ( holiday inn most prob, not booked yet!) and checking in etc at this time?

not flown to DLRP before and am stressing! lol
really want to get these flights booked now the airmiles have been credited

Can't help with Heathrow but wanted to say great news getting the flights booked :thumbsup2

Not sure what the last VEA is but if I was you I would get a cheap airport hotel (you can get travelodges for £19 a room if you book early enough) and fly the next morning so you can have more of a day there. I would worry about my flight getting in late and then being forced to pay a huge taxi fare to get to the holiday inn!

You would be too late, by the time you get to your exit, for the last VEA I would think.

So your options would be either the TGV or a private shuttle.

You'll have no trouble checking into any Disney or associated hotel late at night.

When going from Heathrow on Airmiles we go on the 6.15 am flight as it gives a whole day in the Park. Luckily I only live 10-15 minutes away. If I win the lottery in the meantime and move to a bigger house, you can stay overnight with me. :rotfl:

Congratulations on your new ticker! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

We've arrived late at night both our last two times ........ there's no problem checking into your hotel late at night. We usually send an email the day before we arrive advising them of the time we'll be arriving but all the hotels expect people to be arriving/departing at all times of the day/night.

How many are in your party? There's 5 of us and we've found it's only a few euros more for a shuttle than the VEA and far less hassle.

well we decided to go for the late fri flight! ( just in case sat morn flight is delayed etc and i would be well gutted then!)

the last train leaves at 9.55pm and we dont get in to CDG til 10.05pm ! :(

but have enquired about shuttle, and its going to be around 130 euros return, for 4 of us

one more Q,will EMH run in nov at all ?

xx

I'm pretty sure I read recently that EMH in November is Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings only.
