Flying from Boston

Southwest has non-stop flights out of Manchester and it's only a an hour outside of Boston.

There are fewer non-stops out of Manchester on Southwest these days, unless you are traveling to MCO on Saturday (which the OP is, fortunately!). The rest of the week the only non-stops are at 6:30 AM and PM. That very convenient non-stop flight they always had in the late morning (10:30-ish) has disappeared from their schedule. Not good!

I think OP meant $225 each way; as in per segment. So, over $450 round trip.

I am finding similar fares on Jetblue for our August dates. Roughly $400 per person, round trip.

OP said it was $225 EACH WAY. That's $450 a round trip ticket before taxes and fees!

I wonder if they're gearing up for more nonstop flights out of Boston to, well, everywhere once the AirTran buyout goes through?

The odd thing is SWA currently doesn't offer any non-stops from Boston to MCO. We usually travel on Sunday and as best I can remember, that late morning non-stop from MHT to MCO was always full so I'm baffled why they no longer offer it. They offer five non-stops to MCO each day from Providence, RI but that's just too far for us. We would have opted for JetBlue out of Boston this time but we had SW awards we needed to use.
