Dates are 28 December to 2nd January £767 from Aberdeen to MCO or £1197 from Gatwick - first time I've ever seen that!

Reid, it did a few weeks ago when I was looking at June/July dates. For some absurd reason the flights were coming up £100 roughly, cheaper, from Aberdeen than from Edinburgh or Glasgow. This was with United. There were also flights with them from Belfast £689 from EDI, £669 from GLA and $407 from Belfast! But then United also had an online flight glitch last week in a really good way ..... those flying within the US who were online at the right time snagged tickets for $10! They posted on their FB page that it was there error and they were therefore going to honor the tickets

I heard about that United glitch...shame none of us could have gotten it.

The flights I am looking at are all Virgin flights so direct to MCO from Gatwick (just got to get across London). Prices from Edinburgh have a similar saving.

Now, if I can find a dog sitter......

When considering Aberdeen or Belfast at one point, I looked at getting my own budget airline connection from EDI to there and back. Even paying for hold luggage would have saved me money. I held off a while deliberating ... and the prices went up She who dithers is grounded
