Our family had always enjoyed FF. But after two not-so-good dining experiences there, we stopped including it in our plans. This year, we started to talk about giving FF another chance. Based in part on some of the reviews from this Bd., we had dinner at FF & I'm glad we did!
DH & I had delicious salmon, perfectly prepared. Our server, Mikail(SP?) was great, he made us feel like we were his only table. He told us that they recently changed chefs (w/in the past 3 mos.) & were very impressed with the new chef. As we waited for our entrees, he started our family on a "trivia" game & returned periodically to give us clues, when we got stuck.
Have dinner at FF - it's pricey & worth every penny!

Thanks for the review! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your meal at Flying Fish. :D

Thanx for taking the time to post ~ Glad you all enjoyed your meal at Flying Fish.

Honestly, we've never had a bad meal at FF. Last year we sat at the bar for the first time. I was wonderful. Great interaction with the cooks and wait staff. I tried the steak and it was supurb. (little hint: If you sit at the bar you never know what little surpises my come your way in the form if unexpected food extras)

Thanks for the review. We have never eaten at FF, but will have to think about it for our next trip.

Thanks for the advice... we had a very average experience there, and haven't had the urge to return. Plus, the guy's entree at the next table kept staring at us! (We still talk about the fish that had it's entire head intact - no thank you!) Glad to hear they have a new chef.
