If you had the choice, which one would you choose?
Flying Fish Cafe or the Yachtsman Steakhouse

Thanks!!

i've not eaten at yachtsman steak house but have had two fabulous meals at flying fish.

We have eaten at both and hands down for us the winner was Flying Fish. Service was good in both, food had more flavor at Flying Fish. We thought Yachtsman was going to win for steak but even steak at FF was so much better!!!! JMOp

I'd say Flying Fish, but my husband would say Yachtsman. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but I just love, LOVE Flying Fish!

Flying Fish!
And they have an excellent steak on the menu as well as great seafood.

Eaten at both and after my last meals in May, it's Flying Fish, no contest at all :)

So glad everyone is saying flying fish. going to try it for the first time in oct...cant wait

Flying Fish is our favorite of Disney's dining plan signatures. Yachtsman ranks about 6th.

The Flying Fish is our "welcome" dinner the first evening of every trip and we love it. They also have a Chef's menu served at the Chefs bar that was very good when we were there.

When we tried the Yachtsmen the steaks were pretty good but I can cook a pretty good steak at home so we tend to skip it.

Thanks so much everyone - looks like Flying Fish it is! (That's where I was leaning anyway, so this is great!)

You will love Flying Fish. We ate there again on Sunday night to celebrate our anniversary.

I was going to say the exact same thing.:rotfl: Flying Fish is by far my favorite Signature restaurant (love their mussels, tomato/mozaarella salad, char crusted steak, scallops, any of their dessert trios, and their cheese plate). I've eaten at Yachtsman several times and have yet to be particularly impressed. The best thing on their menu is their rolls with fresh garlic.:rotfl: We've had their strip, porterhouse, rib eye, and lamb. All were just OK.

I think I'm going to Flying Fish twice on our next trip. The menu looks great! I love seafood. And it seems a little more interesting for DS5 plus there may be some boardwalk entertainment outside the restaurant.

We now have ADRs for 6 signature dinners: California Grill, Flying Fish, Brown Derby, Artist Point, Narcoosees, and Citricos.

Yachtsman is available but the reviews and menu don't look as great as others. And it seems a little boring for kids. I was going to trade Citricos for Yachtsman, but thinking now I'll just go to Flying Fish a 2nd time...

By the way.. Citricos is a wonderful restaurant. It's just that we ate the last year and want to do something different, we will visit the Grand Floridian for 2 other restaurants (1900 Park Fare and Narcoosees), and Citricos is a quieter restaurant (DS4 was fine, but still not the most exciting restaurant for kids).
