We're planning a trip for May. We've picked the Flying Fish and the California Grill for our "big" nights out. One of those nights our 5 (by then nearly 6) yr old son will be with us. I've never been to the Flying Fish, so which one would be the better choice for him?

We've never been to Flying Fish but have taken our kids to California Grill. They really liked it- had the rice krispie "sushi" for dessert. They also enjoyed the view. There were lots of kids there. I am guessing we had a 6:00 PS.

We took our kids to Flying fish for the first time when our kids were 7, 5 and 23 mos. They had a great time. There are "mistakes" in the decor of the restaurant that are listed on the kids menu for them to find. Our server was great with them and the food was incredible! There were other kids there as well. When we went to Disney the following year, our 2 older boys were really bummed we had not planned a Flying Fish dinner for that trip!

DD has really enjoyed FF since she was 5. We sit at the open kitchen area. She enjoys it and so do I!!
