Flying around Thanksgiving?

I have had a Thanksgiving family get together thrust upon me so I don't really have a choice in flying dates. I'd like to fly down on Saturday the 19th and return on Sunday the 27th.

Here's my problem though. Flights for that time from Baltimore(BWI) to MCO on Southwest are running about $380.00 round trip. Normally I fly for about $180.00. I'm hoping that there will be discounts released eventually but I'm beggining to doubt it. I'm actually noticing that some flights seem to have no seats available at any price for those dates.

So should I just bite the bullet and pay the $380.00 per ticket or do you think it might be better to wait. One other consideration is these prices are full price, no discount, and are refundable/changable at any time.

I've flown during that time of year many times albeit from Ca to Orlando and it never seems to have a great deal for the return of Sunday. As it gets closer the seats sell out instead of prices going down. Now if you were willing to fly back Sat night or Monday morning I'd say book early but look around since you may see a better deal. At least with Southwest you could use the credit for soemthing else if a better deal comes along...

Sorry!

Jenn
