I am flying into and out of Dallas this Friday morning to head to Orlando. I’ve been eyeing the radars and keeping up with the tropical storm. But I need some reassurance… Does anyone think flights will be affected?

I always travel to WDW during hurricane season but this is the first time there is significant weather interfering with my dates.

I don't think you are going to be affected.

Nicholas is in the Houston area right now. The area shown in green is the area of tropical storm force winds (>39 mph) Right now those winds are about 45 mph. The storm is going to waddle very slowly NE into Louisiana between now and Thursday. That means a lot of rain for the affected areas (which have already been hard-hid by flooding from Ida), but you can see on the map that Dallas is quite a ways from the storm.
